In Isaiah 51:1 the Lord says, "Look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged." Many people have asked me where Baptists came from and who they are. I have often wished I had something that I could give them that was readable, enjoyable and factual. The Lord has brought Mrs. Skinner to our fellowship. She is a person with a deep love for the Lord and a gift in the area of writing. I spoke to her and after many hours of work she produced this booklet which, at last, meets the need for a brief readable Baptist history.
